Drywall repair and installation — the work customers review us for
Drywall repair and installation is the service FixInch is booked for most, and nearly every Thumbtack review we have is about a wall or ceiling. The jobs range from a single doorknob hole to replacing whole sections after a leak, and they share one standard: once primed and painted, you should not be able to find the repair.
Small damage is patched; larger or water-soaked areas are cut out and replaced with new board; ceilings get their own page because cracks, sags and popcorn texture need different handling overhead. Pick the page below that matches what you see, or send a photo and Pavlo will tell you which kind of job it is.
How it works
Measured before we start
1. Send photos
Two or three photos of the wall, door or floor and a line about what you want done. A tape measure in the shot helps.
2. Get the price
Pavlo texts you a clear price and the earliest date he can come. If something can only be judged in person, he says so up front.
3. Fixed and cleaned up
Neat work at the agreed time, the room left swept. Pay by cash, check or Zelle when it is done.

FAQ
Drywall questions
Patch or replace the sheet?
Holes and cracks are patched. If the board is soft, crumbling, stained through or the damage is wider than a couple of feet, the section is cut out and replaced.
How many visits does it take?
Small patches are often done in one visit. Larger repairs need two or three coats of compound with drying time between, so plan for a second day.
Do you paint afterwards?
Yes, the repaired area can be primed and painted, or the whole wall for an even finish.
Got a hole, a sticky door or a squeaky floor?
Send two photos — get your price today.
