Which floor is best for a kitchen or basement?
Vinyl plank or tile — both tolerate water far better than laminate. Laminate suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.
Can you match a few damaged planks?
If you have spare planks or the product is still sold, damaged boards can be replaced without redoing the room. See Floor Repair.
Do you remove the old floor?
